Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels

Another delicious snack to stock up the packed lunches with or keep in the fridge to control pangs of uncontrollable hunger

I made these in between ad breaks whilst watching TV last night so they are also a total doddle to do….

And they certainly don’t taste 10p each (but they really are!!!)

Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels

1 pack of ready-to-roll puff pastry( I buy Aldi’s at 99p)

Some tomato based sauce – and in the words of Blue Peter “here’s some I made earlier” MARINARA SAUCE

Pepperoni ( I bought a pack from Aldi for 89p – it is intended for 3 meals this week so I used just over a third of it

Grated Cheese

Mixed dried herbs

Unroll the pastry, smear over the sauce, evenly distribute the pepperoni and sprinkle with the cheese and herbs

Split them and bake them on a baking tray, preheated oven 180 for about 20-30 mins but keep checking as it depends on your oven – you will know they are ready when they start to brown slightly

Take them out – cool on wire rack – and sprinkle with a dusting of more dried herbs when serving

These would be fab for parties, picnics and pure indulgence!

My intention was to wrap them individually in foil and freeze…ready to take out the night before and bung in a packed lunch box….they sadly never made it this far and now the majority lie in the bellies of the passers-by-the-kitchen-last-night!!!

Approx Costings – 10p each
